When you wash your car in your driveway, unfiltered water—which contains hydrocarbons and harsh chemicals—enters city storm drains, where it can impact local waterways such as creeks, rivers, or coastal ecosystems.
The chemicals used in Colonel Clean’s wash process, on the other hand, are environmentally friendly. Conserving water and using environmentally friendly products is beneficial for all, helping us preserve our beautiful planet.
Colonel Clean uses a water reclamation system that filters the used water from the wash and recycles it back into the carwash. This significantly reduces the amount of fresh water used per car.
Colonel Clean Carwash was designed and built from the ground up as an environmentally friendly project. The building has 8-inch-thick concrete walls, which reduces the risk of fire and provides year-round energy efficiency. The new wash equipment is also powered by energy-efficient motors, and the dryers will automatically spool down when not in use to conserve power. The entire wash is lit with LED lights.
